Description

Pizza Monkey Bread is the ultimate crowd-pleasing snack! It’s a pull-apart bread loaded with cheesy, saucy, and savory pizza flavors. Perfect for parties, game nights, or a family dinner, this recipe is as fun to make as it is to eat.

Ingredients

Scale

Basic Ingredients

2 cans (16.3 oz each) refrigerated biscuit dough (or pizza dough)

2 cups shredded mozzarella cheese

1 cup marinara or pizza sauce

1 cup mini pepperoni slices (or regular pepperoni, chopped)

½ cup grated Parmesan cheese

Optional Add-ins

½ cup diced bell peppers

½ cup sliced black olives

½ cup cooked sausage crumbles

1 tsp Italian seasoning

½ tsp red chili flakes (optional, for spice)

For Topping

2 tbsp melted butter

1 tsp garlic powder

1 tbsp fresh parsley, chopped

Instructions

Preheat Oven: Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C). Grease a bundt pan thoroughly with non-stick spray or melted butter.

Prepare the Dough:

Separate the biscuit dough and cut each biscuit into quarters (or small pieces).

If using pizza dough, roll it out and cut into bite-sized squares.

Combine Ingredients:

In a large bowl, toss the dough pieces with mozzarella cheese, Parmesan cheese, mini pepperoni, and any desired add-ins (bell peppers, olives, etc.).

Pour in about ¾ cup of marinara sauce and mix gently to coat all pieces evenly.

Assemble in Pan:

Layer the coated dough pieces in the prepared bundt pan, pressing lightly to compact them.

Drizzle with melted butter mixed with garlic powder for added flavor.

Bake:

Bake in the preheated oven for 25-30 minutes or until the top is golden brown and the bread is cooked through. If the top starts to brown too quickly, cover loosely with foil.

Cool and Serve:

Let the Pizza Monkey Bread cool for 5-10 minutes in the pan before flipping it onto a serving plate.

Garnish with chopped parsley and serve with the remaining marinara sauce for dipping.

Notes

Avoid Soggy Dough: Pat dry any vegetables or meats to remove excess moisture.

Even Cooking: Make sure the dough pieces are spread evenly in the pan to ensure they cook uniformly.

Cheesy Goodness: For an extra cheesy pull, add small cubes of mozzarella between the layers.

Customize: Add your favorite pizza toppings or spices to make it your own.
