Ingredients

Scale

For the Dough:

  • 1 package of store-bought pizza dough (or homemade dough)
  • 1 tbsp all-purpose flour (for dusting)

For the Filling:

  • ½ cup marinara sauce
  • 1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese
  • ½ cup mini pepperoni slices (or any preferred toppings)
  • ½ tsp garlic powder
  • ½ tsp Italian seasoning

For Topping & Baking:

  • 1 tbsp olive oil (for brushing)
  • ¼ cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • ½ tsp dried oregano

For Serving:

  • Extra marinara sauce for dipping
  • Ranch or garlic butter dip (optional)

Instructions

1. Preheat and Prepare the Dough

  • Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C).
  • Lightly flour a clean surface and roll out the pizza dough into a rectangle.

2. Add the Fillings

  • Spread a thin layer of marinara sauce over the dough, leaving a small border.
  • Evenly sprinkle mozzarella cheese and mini pepperoni (or other toppings) over the sauce.
  • Sprinkle garlic powder and Italian seasoning for extra flavor.

3. Roll and Cut

  • Carefully roll the dough into a log shape (like a jelly roll).
  • Use a sharp knife or pizza cutter to slice into bite-sized pieces (about 1-inch thick).

4. Arrange and Bake

  • Place the rolls on a lined baking sheet, ensuring they are slightly apart.
  • Brush the tops with olive oil and sprinkle with Parmesan cheese and oregano.
  • Bake for 12-15 minutes, or until golden brown and crispy.

5. Serve and Enjoy!

  • Let the pizza rolls cool slightly before serving.
  • Serve with extra marinara sauce, ranch, or garlic butter dip on the side.

Notes

Don’t Overfill: Too much sauce or cheese can cause the rolls to burst while baking.
Seal the Edges: Lightly pinch the edges before baking to prevent leaks.
Use an Air Fryer: For extra crispiness, cook at 350°F (175°C) for 8-10 minutes.
Customize the Fillings: Try different cheeses, veggies, or even a BBQ chicken version!
Make Ahead & Freeze: Assemble the rolls and freeze before baking for a quick snack anytime.
