Description

This Million Dollar Ravioli Casserole is a rich and decadent dish filled with layers of cheesy ravioli, creamy sauce, and gooey melted cheese. Perfect for weeknight dinners, special occasions, or meal prepping.

Ingredients

Ravioli (cheese-filled or any preferred variety) – 20 oz

Marinara sauce – 2 cups

Cream cheese – 8 oz

Sour cream – 1 cup

Mozzarella cheese – 2 cups, shredded

Parmesan cheese – 1 cup, grated

Optional: Cooked ground beef, spinach, or garlic (for added flavor)

Instructions

Prepare the Ravioli: Cook the ravioli to al dente according to the package instructions. Drain and set aside.

Make the Cheese Mixture: In a bowl, mix cream cheese, sour cream, 1 cup of mozzarella, and ½ cup of Parmesan. Stir until smooth.

Layer the Ingredients: Spread a thin layer of marinara sauce at the bottom of a 9×13 baking dish. Layer cooked ravioli over the sauce. Spread the cheese mixture on top. Repeat layers, finishing with marinara sauce.

Top with Cheese: Sprinkle the remaining mozzarella and Parmesan over the top layer.

Bake: Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C). Cover the dish with foil and bake for 30 minutes. Remove the foil and bake for an additional 10-15 minutes until the top is golden and bubbly.

Serve: Let it rest for 5 minutes before serving. Garnish with fresh basil or parsley for added flavor.

Notes

Storage: Store leftovers in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to 3 days.

Reheating: Warm leftovers in the oven at 350°F (175°C) or microwave until heated through.

Freezing: Assemble the casserole and freeze unbaked for up to 3 months. Thaw in the fridge overnight before baking.

Variations: Use gluten-free ravioli for dietary restrictions or add spicy sausage for a bold flavor.
