For the Ham:

  • 1 fully cooked bone-in ham (810 lbs)
  • 1 cup water (for baking)

For the Honey Glaze:

  • 1 cup honey
  • ½ cup brown sugar
  • 2 tablespoons Dijon mustard
  • 1 teaspoon ground cinnamon
  • ½ teaspoon ground cloves
  • ½ teaspoon nutmeg
  • ¼ teaspoon paprika
  • 2 tablespoons butter
  • 2 teaspoons apple cider vinegar
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract

Instructions

Step 1: Prepare the Ham

Preheat oven to 325°F (163°C).

If ham is refrigerated, let it sit at room temperature for 30 minutes.

Score the ham in a diamond pattern for better glaze absorption.

Place the ham on a rack in a roasting pan, adding 1 cup of water to the bottom.

Step 2: Make the Honey Glaze

In a saucepan over medium heat, melt the butter.

Stir in brown sugar, honey, Dijon mustard, cinnamon, cloves, nutmeg, and paprika.

Add apple cider vinegar and vanilla extract, stirring until smooth.

Let the glaze simmer for 5 minutes, then remove from heat.
