Description

Bring a burst of color and flavor to your Easter table with this no-bake Easter Jell-O Pie! It’s light, fruity, and so easy to make — perfect for spring celebrations.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 packet (3 oz) Jell-O Gelatin (any pastel color like strawberry, lemon, or berry blue)
  • 1 cup boiling water
  • ½ cup cold water or ice cubes
  • 8 oz whipped topping (like Cool Whip), thawed
  • 1 pre-made graham cracker crust (or homemade)
  • Food coloring (optional) for enhanced vibrancy
  • Optional toppings: pastel sprinkles, fresh fruit, whipped cream, edible flowers

Instructions

  • Dissolve the Jell-O: In a large bowl, stir the Jell-O powder into 1 cup of boiling water until fully dissolved.
  • Cool the Mixture: Add ½ cup cold water or ice cubes to quickly cool the Jell-O, stirring until it thickens slightly.
  • Fold in Whipped Topping: Gently fold the whipped topping into the Jell-O mixture until smooth and fluffy. If desired, add a drop of food coloring for a more vivid hue.
  • Assemble the Pie: Pour the Jell-O mixture into the graham cracker crust, spreading evenly.
  • Chill: Refrigerate for at least 4 hours or until fully set.
  • Decorate: Before serving, add whipped cream, pastel sprinkles, or fresh fruit for an extra festive touch.

Notes

  • Let the Jell-O cool slightly before folding in the whipped topping to maintain a light, airy texture.
  • For layered Jell-O pie, repeat the process with different Jell-O flavors, letting each layer set for 30 minutes before adding the next.
  • Store the pie covered in the fridge for up to 3 days or freeze (without toppings) for up to 1 month.
