Description

Doritos Pizza Rolls are the perfect fusion of bold, tangy Doritos flavor and classic cheesy pizza rolls. This homemade version is easy to prepare and packed with flavor. A great snack for parties, game nights, or a quick treat!

Ingredients

Scale

  • For the Pizza Rolls
    • 1 package of pizza dough (or 20 wonton wrappers)
    • 1 cup marinara sauce
    • 1 ½ cups shredded mozzarella cheese
    • 20 slices of pepperoni (or other toppings like cooked sausage or veggies)
  • For the Doritos Coating
    • 1 cup crushed Doritos (choose your favorite flavor like Nacho Cheese or Cool Ranch)
    • 2 tablespoons melted butter (for coating)

Instructions

  1. Prepare the Filling:
    • Preheat the oven to 400°F (200°C).
    • If using wonton wrappers, keep them covered with a damp cloth to prevent drying out.
  2. Assemble the Rolls:
    • Roll out the pizza dough and cut it into small squares (or use wonton wrappers).
    • Place 1 teaspoon of marinara sauce in the center of each square.
    • Add a pinch of shredded mozzarella and one piece of pepperoni or your desired filling.
  3. Seal the Rolls:
    • Fold the dough or wrapper over the filling to create a sealed pocket. Pinch the edges firmly or use a fork to crimp them shut.
  4. Coat with Doritos Crumbs:
    • Crush the Doritos into fine crumbs using a food processor or by placing them in a zip-top bag and crushing them with a rolling pin.
    • Brush each roll lightly with melted butter, then roll them in the crushed Doritos to coat evenly.
  5. Bake the Rolls:
    • Arrange the rolls on a parchment-lined baking sheet.
    • Bake for 12–15 minutes or until golden brown and crispy.
  6. Serve:
    • Let the rolls cool slightly before serving. Pair them with dipping sauces like ranch, marinara, or spicy sriracha.

Notes

  • For extra crunch, use an air fryer instead of baking. Cook at 375°F (190°C) for 8–10 minutes.
  • Experiment with flavors by using different types of Doritos, such as Flamin’ Hot or Spicy Sweet Chili.
  • Store leftovers in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to 3 days. Reheat in the oven or air fryer for best results.
