Description

Crockpot Ravioli Lasagna is a simple yet flavorful twist on the classic Italian dish. Using just a few ingredients like frozen ravioli, marinara sauce, and cheese, you can create a hearty, comforting meal with minimal prep and effort. Perfect for any occasion, this slow-cooker recipe saves time while delivering big on taste.

Ingredients

Scale

1 (25-ounce) bag of frozen cheese ravioli

1 pound ground beef, sausage, or turkey (optional)

1 (24-ounce) jar marinara or spaghetti sauce

2 cups shredded mozzarella cheese

1 cup grated Parmesan cheese

1 cup ricotta cheese

Optional: chopped basil, crushed red pepper, sautéed vegetables (spinach, mushrooms, zucchini)

Instructions

Prepare the Meat (Optional):

Brown the ground meat in a skillet over medium heat. Drain the grease, season with salt, pepper, and Italian seasoning, then set aside.

Prepare the Crockpot:

Spray your crockpot with nonstick cooking spray to prevent sticking.

Layer the Ingredients:

Spread a thin layer of marinara sauce at the bottom of the crockpot.

Add a layer of frozen ravioli, followed by meat (if using), a dollop of ricotta, shredded mozzarella, and Parmesan.

Repeat the layering process, finishing with a generous layer of cheese on top.

Cook the Lasagna:

Cover the crockpot and cook on low for 4-5 hours or high for 2-3 hours.

Check and Serve:

Once the cheese is melted and bubbly, and the ravioli is tender, the lasagna is ready. Garnish with fresh basil or parsley before serving.

Notes

Use a thick marinara sauce to avoid a watery lasagna.

For added veggies, layer sautéed spinach or mushrooms between the ravioli.

Store leftovers in the fridge for up to 4 days or freeze for up to 3 months.
