Ingredients

Scale

For the Salad:

2 cups cooked turkey (shredded or cubed)

6 slices turkey bacon (cooked and crumbled)

2 cups sweet peas (fresh or frozen, thawed)

½ cup red onion (finely diced)

½ cup shredded cheddar cheese (optional)

¼ cup chopped parsley or fresh dill (for garnish)

For the Dressing:

½ cup mayonnaise (or Greek yogurt for a healthier option)

1 tablespoon Dijon mustard

1 teaspoon lemon juice

Salt and pepper to taste

Instructions

Cook the Turkey Bacon

  • Heat a pan over medium heat and cook turkey bacon until crispy.
  • Let it cool, then crumble into small pieces.

Prepare the Peas

  • If using frozen peas, place them in warm water for a few minutes, then drain well.

Chop Ingredients

  • Dice the cooked turkey into bite-sized pieces.
  • Finely chop the red onion.

Make the Dressing

  • In a small bowl, whisk together mayonnaise (or Greek yogurt), Dijon mustard, lemon juice, salt, and pepper.

Combine Everything

  • In a large mixing bowl, add turkey, bacon, peas, red onion, and cheese (if using).
  • Pour the dressing over the ingredients and mix well.

Chill & Serve

  • Let the salad sit in the fridge for 30 minutes before serving to enhance the flavors.
  • Garnish with fresh herbs and enjoy!

Notes

For extra crunch, add chopped almonds or sunflower seeds.
Use Greek yogurt instead of mayo for a healthier dressing.
Make it ahead – this salad tastes even better the next day!
Pair it with grilled chicken, sandwiches, or fresh fruit.
For a vegetarian version, swap turkey bacon for roasted chickpeas or tofu.
