Description

This Creamy Garlic Chicken recipe is a family favorite! Tender chicken breasts in a rich, garlicky cream sauce — perfect with pasta, rice, or veggies. Ready in just 35 minutes!

Ingredients

Scale
  • Chicken:

    • 4 boneless, skinless chicken breasts
    • Salt and pepper, to taste
    • 1 tsp paprika (optional)
    • 2 tbsp olive oil or butter
  • Creamy Garlic Sauce:

    • 45 garlic cloves, minced
    • 1 cup heavy cream
    • ½ cup chicken broth
    • ½ cup grated Parmesan cheese
    • 1 tsp Italian seasoning
    • ½ tsp red pepper flakes (optional)
    • Fresh parsley, for garnish

Instructions

  1. Prepare the Chicken:

    • Pat chicken breasts dry and season both sides with salt, pepper, and paprika.
    • Heat olive oil in a skillet over medium heat. Cook chicken for 5-6 minutes per side until golden brown and fully cooked. Remove and set aside.
  2. Make the Sauce:

    • In the same pan, sauté minced garlic until fragrant (about 30 seconds).
    • Pour in chicken broth, scraping up any browned bits from the pan.
    • Add heavy cream, simmer for 2-3 minutes. Stir in Parmesan cheese, Italian seasoning, and red pepper flakes until sauce thickens.
  3. Combine and Serve:

    • Return chicken to the skillet and coat with the creamy garlic sauce. Simmer for 5 minutes.
    • Garnish with fresh parsley and serve hot with your favorite sides.

Notes

  • Use Fresh Garlic: Fresh garlic brings out the best flavor — avoid jarred garlic.
  • Avoid Overcooking: Chicken breasts dry out quickly, so cook just until done.
  • For a Thicker Sauce: Let the sauce simmer longer or add a cornstarch slurry (1 tsp cornstarch + 1 tbsp water).
