Description

This Cinnamon Roll Peach Cobbler is the ultimate indulgent dessert, combining the flavors of classic peach cobbler with soft, cinnamon-spiced rolls. With juicy peaches, a rich caramelized syrup, and golden cinnamon rolls on top, this easy-to-make dish is a crowd-pleaser.

Ingredients

Scale

Peach Filling:

  • 4 cups fresh peaches (peeled and sliced) or 2 cans of sliced peaches (drained)
  • ½ cup granulated sugar
  • ¼ cup brown sugar
  • 1 teaspoon cinnamon
  • ½ teaspoon nutmeg
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1 tablespoon cornstarch
  • 1 tablespoon lemon juice

Cinnamon Roll Topping:

  • 1 can refrigerated cinnamon rolls (or homemade cinnamon rolls)
  • 2 tablespoons melted butter
  • 1 teaspoon cinnamon

Optional Additions:

  • ¼ cup chopped pecans or walnuts
  • A drizzle of caramel sauce
  • Whipped cream or vanilla ice cream for serving

Instructions

Step 1: Prepare the Peaches

  1. Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C).
  2. If using fresh peaches, peel and slice them. For canned peaches, drain the syrup.
  3. In a large mixing bowl, combine peaches, granulated sugar, brown sugar, cinnamon, nutmeg, vanilla extract, lemon juice, and cornstarch. Stir until evenly coated.
  4. Let the mixture sit for 10 minutes to release natural juices.

Step 2: Assemble the Cobbler Base

  1. Grease a baking dish with butter or non-stick spray.
  2. Pour the peach mixture into the baking dish and spread it evenly.

Step 3: Arrange the Cinnamon Rolls

  1. Open the cinnamon roll can and separate the rolls. If using homemade dough, roll it out and slice it into spirals.
  2. Arrange the cinnamon rolls on top of the peach mixture, leaving space for them to expand.
  3. Brush the rolls with melted butter and sprinkle extra cinnamon for enhanced flavor.

Step 4: Bake the Cobbler

  1. Cover the dish with foil and bake for 20 minutes.
  2. Remove the foil and bake for another 15–20 minutes until the cinnamon rolls are golden brown and cooked through.
  3. Drizzle the included icing (from the cinnamon roll can) over the rolls for extra sweetness.

Step 5: Serve and Enjoy

  • Let the cobbler cool for 10 minutes before serving.
  • Top with vanilla ice cream or whipped cream for a decadent treat.

Notes

  • Use fresh peaches when in season for the best flavor and texture.
  • Pre-bake the peach filling for 10 minutes before adding the cinnamon rolls to prevent sogginess.
  • Cover with foil for the first half of baking to ensure even cooking.
  • Add a pinch of salt to balance out the sweetness.
  • Serve warm for the best taste, paired with ice cream or caramel drizzle.
