Ingredients

Scale

For the Shrimp:

1 lb shrimp (peeled and deveined)

½ cup cornstarch (for coating)

1 teaspoon salt

½ teaspoon black pepper

½ teaspoon garlic powder

2 tablespoons olive oil

For the Bang Bang Sauce:

½ cup mayonnaise

¼ cup Thai sweet chili sauce

1 tablespoon Sriracha (adjust to spice preference)

1 teaspoon honey (optional)

1 tablespoon lime juice

For the Pasta:

8 oz spaghetti, linguine, or fettuccine

2 tablespoons butter

3 cloves garlic (minced)

½ cup heavy cream

¼ cup grated Parmesan cheese

1 tablespoon chopped parsley (for garnish)

Optional Add-Ons:

Red pepper flakes (for extra heat)

Green onions (for garnish)

Cherry tomatoes (for freshness)

Instructions

Step 1: Cook the Pasta

  1. Bring a large pot of salted water to a boil.
  2. Cook pasta according to package instructions until al dente.
  3. Reserve ½ cup of pasta water, then drain and set aside.

Step 2: Prepare the Shrimp

  1. Pat shrimp dry and coat with cornstarch, salt, pepper, and garlic powder.
  2. Heat olive oil in a pan over medium heat and cook shrimp for 2-3 minutes per side until crispy. Remove from heat.

Step 3: Make the Bang Bang Sauce

  1. In a bowl, whisk together mayonnaise, sweet chili sauce, Sriracha, lime juice, and honey. Set aside.

Step 4: Prepare the Pasta Sauce

  1. In the same pan, melt butter and sauté garlic until fragrant.
  2. Stir in heavy cream and Parmesan cheese until smooth.
  3. Add cooked pasta and toss to combine, using reserved pasta water to adjust consistency.

Step 5: Assemble the Dish

  1. Mix in the Bang Bang sauce and shrimp, coating everything evenly.
  2. Garnish with parsley, red pepper flakes, and green onions.
  3. Serve immediately and enjoy!

Notes

For Extra Crispiness: Double-coat the shrimp with cornstarch and fry in batches.

Spice Control: Adjust Sriracha to your preferred heat level.

Lighten It Up: Use Greek yogurt instead of mayo and sauté shrimp instead of frying.

Best Pasta Choice: Linguine, spaghetti, or fettuccine work best for soaking up the sauce.
